Cookies and Similar Technologies

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer, mobile device, or other device when you visit a website. Cookies allow websites to recognize a device, remember preferences, support Website functionality, understand how visitors use a website, and provide other features.

Cookies may be set directly by the Website (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services used on the Website (“third-party cookies”). Cookies may be temporary and expire when you close your browser (“session cookies”) or remain on your device for a specified period (“persistent cookies”). We may also use similar technologies such as tags and pixels; for purposes of this Privacy Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as “cookies.”

How We Use Cookies

Aji Bio-Pharma uses cookies for various purposes, including to:

  • operate and secure the Website;
  • remember your preferences, including cookie and language preferences;
  • provide Website functionality;
  • understand how visitors use and interact with the Website;
  • measure and improve Website performance, content, and communications; and
  • where implemented and permitted by applicable law, measure the effectiveness of marketing or advertising activities.

Categories of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies. Essential cookies are required for the Website to function properly or to provide functionality you request, including security, network management, cookie consent preferences, and other core Website functions. Users cannot make any selections regarding Essential Cookies through our cookie banner, and these cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool. You may be able to block them through your browser settings, but doing so may affect how the Website functions.

Functional Cookies. These cookies allow the Website to remember choices you make and provide enhanced functionality, such as language preferences and other Website settings. If you do not allow these cookies, some Website features may not function as intended.

Marketing Cookies. Where implemented, these cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of communications or advertising and, depending on the technology, to understand visitor interests or interactions across websites. Where required by applicable law, these technologies will not be activated unless you provide the appropriate consent.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and may use other analytics technologies to help us analyze Website usage and improve our content and user experience. Where required by applicable law, analytics cookies will not be activated unless you provide the appropriate consent.

Cookiebot and Your Cookie Preferences

We use Cookiebot to provide our cookie consent and preference management tools. When you first visit the Website, you will be presented with a Cookiebot cookie banner that allows you to select whether Functional Cookies and Marketing Cookies are deployed on your device. Essential Cookies are not subject to selection and will be deployed because they are necessary for the Website to operate.

Where consent is required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will be used based on the choices you make through our cookie preference tools. You may review or change your cookie preferences at any time by selecting “Manage Cookies” in the Website footer. Your cookie preferences may be stored so that we can remember your choices when you return to the Website, and your choices apply to the browser and device on which they were made.

Cookie Declaration

The current cookies and similar technologies used on the Website, including their providers, purposes, categories, and expiration periods, are listed in the Cookie Declaration below. The Cookie Declaration is generated and maintained through Cookiebot based on cookies and similar technologies detected on the Website, and may be updated from time to time.

Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings, including deleting existing cookies or blocking certain cookies. If you block or delete cookies through your browser, some Website functionality or preferences may not work as intended. Browser settings are separate from the preferences you select through our Website cookie management tools.

Aji Bio-Pharma operates through affiliated companies and service providers located in multiple countries, including the United States, Japan, and Belgium, and our hosting, CRM, analytics, translation, cookie management, and video service providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Accordingly, personal information you submit – including information submitted through a Website form – may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from, and may not provide the same level of protection as, the laws of your country, and where your data may be subject to lawful access requests by local authorities.

Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we implement appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, which may include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or UK Addendum, and additional technical and organizational measures.
