Hiroki Inoue leads business development for Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services in Japan. With more than 25 years of experience spanning pharmaceutical research, corporate strategy, and business development, he brings scientific expertise and commercial perspective to the growth of Ajinomoto’s CDMO business.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Inoue advanced business development initiatives across life sciences, healthcare, protein nutrition, and sustainability-focused businesses. He also contributed to M&A transactions involving the establishment and divestiture of companies. Earlier in his career, he conducted drug discovery research at Ajinomoto Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly, MSD, and GSK. Mr. Inoue holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, now Institute of Science Tokyo.
