| Executive Summary | Recent trends in the biopharmaceutical field include the development of molecules with cell-engaging and targeted delivery capabilities. Under the circumstance, a number of multi-specific molecules have been developed, especially bi-specific antibodies. Ajinomoto Co., Inc. has proprietary biopharmaceutical molecule production and conjugation technologies, and manufactures a variety of biopharmaceuticals such as pharmaceutical proteins, nucleic acids, peptides, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this presentation, we will introduce our efforts and future prospects for the development of manufacturing methods for multi-specific molecules using the above technologies, with a focus on bi-specific antibodies and highly functionalized peptides. |
